چکیده

The development of Crush Natural Gas (CNG) Engine Control Unit (ECU) depends on expensive bench tests or traditional gasoline engine simulation software, which expand researching and developing period. A new approach is presented in this paper, in which a novelty CNG Turbo engine model based on Mean Value Model and Hardware In Loop (HIL) platform are included. The model acts as many roles e.g. simulation, embedded fault diagnosis and ECU test model which provide more accuracy and efficiency for development of ECU. The new HIL simulation policy is based on Matlab/Simulink, Real Time Workshop (RTW) and NI PXI board. The experiment results prove that it acquired quality Real-time response and accuracy, and economy budget.

Effect of Hydrogen Addition to Natural Gas on Homogeneous Charge Compression Ignition Combustion Engines Performance and Emissions Using a Thermodynamic Simulation

The HCCI combustion process is initiated due to auto-ignition of fuel/air mixture which is dominated by chemical kinetics and therefore fuel composition has a significant effect on engine operation and a detailed reaction mechanism is essential to analysis HCCI combustion. A single zone-model permits to have a detailed chemical kinetics modeling for practical fuels. In this study a single-zone ...

Simulation of Dual Fuel Combustion of Direct Injection Engine with Variable Natural Gas Premixed Ratio

Nowadays, the major challenge of diesel engines development is simultaneous nitrogen oxides and soot emissions reduction without the thermal efficiency drop. Hence, different combustion concepts should be investigated to reach optimum emission and performance conditions in diesel engines without expensive aftertreatment systems. This paper presents the results of a study on a dual fuel (DF) eng...

Prediction of Major Pollutants Emission in Direct-Injection Dual-Fuel Diesel And Natural-Gas Engines

The dual-fuel diesel engine (D.F.D.E) is a conventional diesel engine in which much of the energy released, hence power, comes from the combustion of gaseous fuel such as natural gas. The exhaust emission characteristics of the D.F.D.E needs further refinements, particularly in terms of reduction of Unburnt Hydrocarbons (U7HC) and Carbon Monoxide (CO) emission, because the concentration of thes...
